Career Mate is an educational institution that focuses on helping college students from Western countries (i.e. the United States) who are interested in developing their career in Eastern countries (i.e. China) to prepare themselves to become global talents through our three-step customized training program. Career Mate is committed to becoming a bridge between overseas college and domestic enterprises in this ever-changing job market in the 21st century. Career Mate was established based on China Association, a fully-licensed Asia-Pacific focused human resources and executive search consulting firm that was founded in 2001.

Our History

  • ​CareerMate’s parent company is China-Association (CAC). CAC is the fully-licensed Asia Pacific focused on human resources and executive search consulting firm. Founded in Shanghai in 2001, CAC has since opened offices in New York, Singapore, and Beijing. With its unique business model, China-Association helps the U.S. and European based companies identify talented candidates and develop growth strategies. China-Association has established long-term strategic partnerships with many domestic enterprises. The fields cover the chemical, manufacturing, consulting, and consumer goods industries.

CareerMate Solutions is composed of three core professional teams: headhunting experts with extensive enterprise connections, human resources professionals with extensive knowledge in designing training programs and with an in-depth understanding of what enterprises need, and program coordinators with study aboard experiences who understand overseas colleges/ students’ needs and concerns.

  • CareerMate Solutions works with colleges in Western countries that have students who are interested in working overseas and hope to build a cross-border career. CM will function as a colleges’ Overseas Career Center by designing customized career planning packages for selected students. We can help students better position themselves, understand their targeted countries’ business culture in-depth, and learn about enterprises’ needs in advance to become a global professional. Most colleges’ career center is mainly focusing on the domestic job market with the domestic alumni network, and CM aims to enrich the career center services by CM’s strong enterprise's connections and professional training programs in overseas countries.

  • CM also works with top 500 enterprises as well as up-coming start-up companies who have needs for overseas talents and are willing to cooperate and contribute to cultivating global talents. CM helps enterprises identify overseas talents more efficiently and effectively by offering them a platform to share their needs and resources to the targeted crowd. It also helps their branding in overseas countries..
